The deputies of Riga City Council accepted the preferred option for the segment 1 of the Northern Corridor (alternative of the Brīvības Street). Deputies admitted that the preferred option is # 3 that was also supported by independent experts. Decision about the preferred opinion for the alternative of the Brīvības Street is necessary in order to continue with developing the sketch design project.
